Above 690' are very pleased to announce the release of David Handford's Post-Punk project Sector 51's new single Workshy on Friday 31th May 2024 via streaming and download.

Recorded at Lime Tor Studios in Barton, south east Devon, it's a slice of post punk squall with a timely politicised rant mirrored back at its originators. Mixing dirty analogue synths, jagged guitars and caustic vocals, it takes hold of you and doesn't let go.

As Acid Slag, dj Methodist and Ministry of Defiance David garnered airplay from BBC R1, R3 and 6music along with other national and international radio stations.

His recent albums Weather, Light & Ghoul and Lower Town were well received and also gained some airplay on Stuart Maconie's Freakzone.
