Above 690' are very pleased to announce the release of Machine Poets new single King Of The Hill on Friday 31st May 2024 via streaming and download.

A slice of urban myth wrapped around some warped electronics and fat beats, this is Machine Poets second release following on from the well received Future Paradise in March this year.

Machine Poets are Devon based producers Matt Thomas-Willcocks and David Handford. Matt writes the beats and synth lines while David provides lyrics and guitar or violin melodies.

Matt records as Rogue Filter as an electro producer and DJ, releasing through Atónicos, Hilltown Discos & Fog City.

David releases through his Above 690' label and has garnered international airplay under his own name and via former aliases, Acid Slag, dj Methodist & Ministry of Defiance through BBC Radio1, Radio 3 and 6 Music.
